Purchase of courses, classes, workshops or Teacher Training Units

After ordering online, you will receive an email containing your enrolment/purchase details and our bank details. To complete your order please make payment via direct bank deposit. Once monies have appeared in our account a confirmation  email will be sent to you.

Courses / Workshops / Teacher Training Units: Refund policy

If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to commencement of the course or workshop 50% of the fee is refundable.  There is no refund if cancellation is made less than 3 days prior to commencement.

It is a student’s responsibility to attend all classes or sessions.  There are no catch up classes provided in lieu of missed classes or sessions.

Retreats: Refund policy

Places in the retreats are restricted by our home business license.  There is a maximum of 10 places. If you cancel your booking within 3 weeks of the event there is no refund as it is unlikely, we can fill your place.  If you cancel within 5 weeks of the event there is a 50% refund.  We hope you understand that this is not meant to make your life difficult, it is to protect the viability of the retreat center into the future. 

Class Cards: Conditions of use

Expiry dates on cards are calcuated from time of first use. No extension will be granted unless a student advises of extenuating circumstances prior to expiry date. Cards are for individual student use only and are therefore not transferable.  Cards are considered "cash" and as such lost cards will not be reissued.  

Attending class levels appropriate to health and experience

I affirm that I have read information provided on the website about the different levels of classes and programs taught in the school and that I will select classes/programs appropriate to my health and level of experience.

Notice of health status/injury

I affirm that I am in good health, or if purchasing classes or programs for my child/children that they suffer from no physical impairment that would limit their participation in yoga classes; or if there are conditions or injuries that affect my/their day to day life that I agree to inform the teacher before each class of any health condition for example those listed below, though not exclusive to those listed

  • High/Low blood pressure
  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetes
  • Sciatica
  • Sacroiliac pain
  • Pregnancy
  • History of miscarriage (if trying to conceive or currently pregnant)
  • Blood clots
  • Heart conditions
  • Menstruation and any issues of concern about menstrual cycle.

I understand that every possible care will be taken by the teacher of my classes to ensure my well-being and safety but that I must take precaution to work within my own limits. I agree to exercise reasonable and sensible caution for my well-being and the wellbeing of fellow students while practicing yoga under my yoga teacher’s supervision.

The Hervey Bay School of Yoga regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our customers. The following privacy policy applies to all Hervey Bay School of Yoga users, and conforms to Internet privacy standards.

In order to use the Hervey Bay School of Yoga website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible.

All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including Email.

Any information collected by The Hervey Bay School of Yoga is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website.


If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, Email, and postal address)

We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.


The Hervey Bay School of Yoga uses personally identifiable information for essential communications, such as Emails, accounts information, and critical service details. We may also use this information for other purposes, including some promotional Emails.  If at any time a customer wishes not to receive such correspondence, they can request to be removed from any mailing lists by emailing us at office@herveybayyoga.com.au


Links on  The Hervey Bay School of Yoga site to external entities are not covered within this policy. The terms and conditions set out in this privacy statement only cover the domain name of The Hervey Bay School of Yoga.
