Life is not a one way process. Our actions affect things outside of us; and in turn the outcome of our actions is feedback: information - that we can reflect and learn from. A yoga practice teaches us that sensitivity is necessary for PEACE and contentment, and that our thoughts and perceptions are where this sensitivity begins.
Our next introductory courses are in May 2021. There is a Tuesday evening 6 - 7.30pm course being taught by Polly Realf and a Friday 9.30 - 11.00am course for seniors, being taught by Vera van de Velde. Book for these courses on the workshop/courses page.
For attendance in ongoing timetabled classes, students are encouraged to purchase class cards. Read more here

We recommend that if you are new to our school community, that you give yourself the best opportunity to learn by starting in an Introductory course. This helps you to put down your expectations of yourself and to settle into the journey of learning. We can all be good 'doers' and there is a time and place for this. Learning to be with our Selves with a little, or lot less pressure is not so common. In a course you will learn progressively and with methodical instruction. The group of people is the same week to week which allows the group to progress. In a course you will be introduced to the philosophy and science behind the practice of the postures.
After completing an introductory course students will feel confident to attend classes at the beginner level, where postures are held longer and sequencing is more diverse.
